The Misa is an Italian river in the Marche,[1] which runs over 48 kilometers within the region.[2] The source of the river is south ofArcevia in the province of Ancona. The river flows northeast near Arcevia and Serra de’ Conti. The river enters the Adriatic Sea nearSenigallia.

Misa is a 108 kilometers long river in Semigallia, Latvia.[1] Its upper course till tributary Zvirgzde river is rectificated. There are active fast peat extraction and polders at the coasts of river from Stelpe village till Beibeži village. From Zvirgzde river till Plakanciemsvillage there are several summer cottage colonies at the woodland coasts of Misa river. Below Plakanciems village till Misa’s mouth in Iecava river near Ozolnieki village, the coasts of river are with relatively high population density.

The biggests settlements near the river: Stelpe, Beibeži, Dzērumi, Plakanciems, Pēternieki, Dalbe and Ozolnieki.
